For this end of May elopement ceremony in Paris Sara and Zac from Australia picked an iconic location in the Tuileries gardens. Sunrise at that of the year is very early, so already by 7am when the gardens open we've had the perfect soft light for the photos. Another advantage of doing the photos at this time is that we can avoid all the crowds of people in the background as we travel to different locations in the city.
The ceremony itself was beautifully performed by Naim, who is one of our favorite parisian officiants fluent in English and always makes sure his words are personalized and moving for the couple. The timing can vary from couple to couple, but count on at least 30 minutes for the ceremony. We've also had their phone set up to record the video of it all, but you could go with a videographer too - there are options :)
After the elopement ceremony we have walked to the pond in the Tuileries, Passerelle Léopold-Sédar-Senghor and then taken a taxi to rue Saint-Dominique and a cafe on it. Finally, we've taken another taxi to avenue de Camoëns for the final stop and iconic Eiffel tower view.
