CIVIL CEREMONY IN PARIS - WEDDING AND COUPLE PORTRAITS

Civil ceremony wedding in Paris can be as modern and editorial as a big wedding in a french château if you plan it well. For this wedding we have worked together Fede capturing video while Ana was doing photos. To have the best experience for Anastasia and Tim we have advised them to split their wedding ceremony capture and couple portraits into 2 different days. Here's the first part with the lovely ceremony in the Paris 15eme district city hall surrounded by their closest friends. Scroll down for part 2 - the couple portraits.

This is part 2 of this Parisian civil wedding. It was actually shot first on the day when Anastasia had her hair and make up trial for the wedding. This is a great idea to schedule it this way so the bridal portraits were styled by Hair and Make-up artist Sasha. For the portraits Anastasia and Tim wanted to go with the moody look of the sunset in Paris, so we have timed the session to start right before the closing of Palais Galliera garden. It's a classical and elegant background perfect for a wedding photoshoot. When it got darker we've moved to Palais de Tokyo, for a very editorial backdrop. And we've finished the shoot with popping a bottle of champagne on the quai of Seine overlooking the Eiffel tower. Loved their Hermès wedding bands, so we've featured the moment of them opening and exchanging their wedding rings during the shoot too.
