Modern Parisian wedding at Michelin star Restaurant H

Photographing at a Michelin star restaurant has always been on my bucket list of dream locations and this was the day it came true! Not only did I get to shoot at 1 Michelin star Restaurant H, but it was the wedding of the chef himself, so every detail was planned to perfection and the party was full of Parisian culinary stars enjoying themselves in the typical french art de vivre (the art of living) way. Living in the moment and enjoying it to the fullest, but doing it in style and with a lot of champagne - that's Tatiana and Huber's big day in a nutshell.

Tatiana's wearing a beautiful Sessùn cocktail dress and her hair and make up was done by Tatiana Tutova. The civil ceremony took place in the city hall of Paris Centre (Mairie du 3e arrondissement). Right after saying "I do" we all walked over the the Restaurant H taking photos along the way at Place des Vosges, focussing on a modern and natural, unposed feel. To add a bit of an editorial vibe to their photos we've used flash for some of the portraits inside the restaurant. All the flowers for the groom, bride and restaurant decor were prepared by the talented florist Yuko Osawa. I'll never forget this wedding, because for me this was such a joy to be given a full artistic direction in the way I was going to preserve their memories!
